For example, you can visit the National Theater adjacent to the Hotel, the Melico Salazar Theater, located on the West side of Gran Hotel Costa Rica, facing the Central Park and the Metropolitan Cathedral, which offers plays, dance, child shows, music, opera and folklore shows.
At the end of your tour around the capital city of San José, you can enjoy lunch or dinner at the historical terrace of our Coffee Shop 1930, next to the Juan Mora Fernández Square, as well as the live piano music we offer, while you watch the events of daily life in the small Costa Rica from Gran Hotel Costa Rica.
The Gran Hotel Costa Rica offers 104 ample carpeted rooms, with view towards the National Theater and Culture Square; bathroom with a bathtub, satellite TV, restaurant and piano bar open twenty four hours a day, coffee shop-terrace, halls for special events, laundry service, ice cream parlor, drugstore, brazilian leather store.
